SpicyChat AI model guide: choose and switch conversation models

Use the model selector to compare character voice, reply length, language and repetition behavior.

Model access is plan-based

SpicyChat says it offers more than ten models. True Supporter opens additional advanced models; I’m All In opens the full selection including SpicyXL. Because the catalog changes, use the current selector rather than an old list from a review.

Test one variable

Create a branch or fresh chat, keep the character, Persona and user message identical, and compare one response from each available model. Look for voice consistency, instruction following, pacing, language and repetition.

Reply length is also a tier limit

Free and Get A Taste replies have a 180-token ceiling; True Supporter and I’m All In raise it to 300. A model may still choose a shorter answer. Give it a substantive message and a scene with somewhere to go.

Switching can break a loop

Delete the repeated pattern first, change the scene, switch model for two or three messages, then switch back if preferred. Changing models does not restore old context; use memory for that.
